「清水焼の郷まつり」は1975年の第1回開催以来、京都市山科区清水焼団地を舞台に京焼・清水焼の魅力を国内外に発信してきました。2026年、第50回という節目の年を迎えるにあたりイベント名称を「KYOPO（キョポ） Kyoto Pottery Expo」へリニューアルします

年に一度の陶器市にとどまらず、京都の陶芸を核に、職人・使い手・次世代をつなぐコミュニティを形成し、年間を通じた多彩なプログラムを展開します

「これまでの50年とこれからの50年」を見据えた、京都の陶芸文化の新たな出発点とします

Since its first event in 1975, the "Kiyomizuyaki no Sato Matsuri" has been promoting the appeal of Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki ceramics both domestically and internationally from the Kiyomizu-yaki pottery complex in Yamashina Ward, Kyoto City. As we approach the milestone 50th edition in 2026, we will completely rebrand the event name to "KYOPO (Kyopo) Kyoto Pottery Expo."

Rather than just an annual pottery market, we will form a community connecting craftspeople, users, and the next generation around Kyoto ceramics as the core, and develop diverse programs throughout the year. This will be a new starting point for Kyoto's ceramic culture, looking ahead to "the past 50 years and the next 50 years."
