KYOPO－ Kyoto Pottery Expo

Since its first event in 1975, the "Kiyomizuyaki no Sato Matsuri" has been promoting the appeal of Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki ceramics both domestically and internationally, set in the Kiyomizuyaki-danchi (Kiyomizuyaki Pottery Industrial Park) in Yamashina Ward, Kyoto City. As we approach the milestone 50th edition in 2026, we are rebranding the event name to "KYOPO Kyoto Pottery Expo."

We are currently looking for ceramic artists and food vendors to exhibit at KYOPO－Kyoto Pottery Expo 2026. Please check the link in the profile for details.

Rather than just an annual pottery market, we will form a community connecting craftspeople, users, and the next generation, with Kyoto's ceramics at the core, and develop diverse programs throughout the year.

This will be a new starting point for Kyoto's ceramic culture, looking ahead to "the past 50 years and the next 50 years."
